This is a perfect event to bring
that friend to for fun, games, laughter and social ! and avoid the
wolves if you can.
Werewolves be running amuck and
need to be stopped. They have taken a dislike to the balls and are
seeking to stop the reveraly and merryment
Here is what we know ! The Lais
de Mary de France from the 11-12th century tells us an awesome
Anglo normal story about A werewolf, so sit and listen, before ye
attend the ball.
A lord turns into a wolf and his
wife steals his clothes so he cannot become human again. He is one
time hunted in the Royal forest, but right before the king could
kill him, the knight acts out a ceremonial greeting and bows to the
king. The king is so amused he takes the wolf as his pet. The wolf
is the most courteous of creatures, and so smart that after a year
of living in the kings court he is considered as noble as any man.
But, one banquet, his wife - and her new husband - come to the
castle. The wolf, seeing this, jumps up and bites off the wife's
nose. The king knows that this wolf is the most knightly of
creatures, so he imprisons the wife and tortures her until she
reveals her deeds. They put the cloths and the wolf in the Kings
chamber, and a few minutes later they find the knight - in human
form - sleeping on the bed
