Site opens at 8:20 am 

 

Registration Fee: $20 for adults, a $5 discount is applied with proof of membership.  Children under the ages of 18 are free.  Cheques are to be made payable to the Shire of Fjordland. 

 

Site Location:  730 School Road, Gibsons BC V0N 1V9 at the Christian Life Assembly Church Hall.  

The site is non-smoking and no pets are permitted in the building.  Town of Gibsons animal control bylaws are in effect.  Pets must be attended to and leashed in all public places.  All pet waste must be picked up and disposed of using biodegradable bags. 

 

Their Highnesses Tir Righ will be in attendance. 

 

ACTIVITIES 

Coffee and tea will be available by donation. 

A Lunch buffet of sandwich fixings, vegan dishes and carne chili will be available by donation. 

Interactive Peer Demos. A generous assemblage of talented Peers will be bringing some of their expertise, tools and materials for a day of interactive instruction and Demos.   

 

Childrens Activities: 

  • Kids Cardboard Armour Challenge – basic materials will be provided for kids to build their own armour.  Younger children will need the help of an adult.   Materials provided will be cardboard, scissors, tape and string.  Bring your imagination! 

  • Colouring table – colouring pages and crayons are provided 

  • Small playground on site in fenced back yard 

 

TOURNAMENTS 

  • A Rapier Combat Tourney. The winner earns a place in the Prize Sweepstakes. 

  • An Armoured Combat Tourney. The winner takes  a place in the Prize Sweepstakes. 

  • Thrown Weapons Tourney like you've never seen before. 

    Driving Directions from Langdale Ferry Terminal: 

Disembark from ferry, continue straight through the lights and head north on Hwy 101.  Signs are for British Columbia 101 N/Gibsons and Sechelt.  Continue to the top of the hill and make a left turn at the top.  Continue along Sunshine Coast Hwy until intersection with Gibsons Way and School Road.  Continue straight onto School Road.  Site is partway down the hill on your left-hand side.  Approximate distance from ferry to site is 5.4 km and driving time is about 8 minutes. 

 

Driving Directions from Earls Cove Ferry Terminal: 

Disembark from ferry, continue straight along Sunshine Coast Hwy / BC Hwy 101 heading south.  Continue heading south through Pender HarbourHalfmoon Bay and Sechelt.  Continue through Sechelt following signs for Sunshine Coast Hwy / BC Hwy 101 south to Gibsons.  Continue heading south along the highway through Roberts Creek and into Gibsons along Gibsons Way.  Arrive at the intersection of Gibsons Way (Sunshine Coast Hwy) and School Road, turn right onto School Road.  Site is partway down the hill on your left-hand side.  Approximate distance from ferry is 75.6 km and driving time is about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
