Hartwood Fall Champions

Hartwood’s Fall Champions event:  August 18th – 20th 2017 in Black Creek!

Autocrat: Master John Mail-Macandrew

This will be Hartwood's Heavy, Archery, FENCING,and Thrown Weapons Championships.

Come test your mettle or come cheer on the competitors!

-          Lady Aniko will be running the archery championships tournament. (HL Cunegonda – MIC)

-          HL Wulfgar will be running the heavy championship tournament. (and MIC)

-          There will a fencing tournament to determine Hartwood’s champion. (HL Seamus – MIC)

-          There will be our first thrown weapons championship. (Lord Harold MIC)

-          Embellisher’s challenge.

-          The Bardic Circle will be open for fun to all comers. Bring your songs, stories, or poetry to the enjoyment of all.

Details:

Site fee is $20/adult, (minus  NMS of $5 for members). (Youth and children are free!)

Gate opens 4 p.m. on Friday, and closes 4 p.m. on Sunday).

Location is on private property on MacAuley Road; drive carefully down the driveway. (Note that Google map is a wee bit off, so get yourself to Macaulay Rd and follow the signs.)

There are two septic fields that must not have traffic over them; they will be marked.

Parking is tight; please be efficient in situating your wagon!

Water is from a well; please bring your own if you think you might have issues. Potable water is available in jugs, and wash water from "The Inn".

Power is available from "The Inn" and from the house for those who need to power CPAPs and such.

Dogs are welcome; however, An Tir leash laws are in effect; please clean up after your dog. Bags are available at gate.

Please remember our custom of leaving a site cleaner than we found it. :)

 

 

 

 

 

Tentative Schedule

Friday

3 p.m. - tape and stake parking; label areas; set up gate

4 p.m. - open

 

Saturday

9:30 am – Seneschal’s gathering and event steward’s announcements.

10 a.m. - Archery Championship – Lady Aniko

12:00  p.m. - Heavy Championship – Lord Wulfgar

2 p.m. - Rapier Instruction / Rapier Scenarios – HL Seamus

3:30 pm – Embellisher’s challenge. Mistress Halima

4 pm – Thrown weapons tournament – Lord Harold

6 p.m. - Dinner break

8 p.m. – Seneschal’s gathering.

9 p.m. - Bardic Circle,

11 p.m. - Lullaby

Midnight - Quiet time

 

Sunday

10am – council.
