Autumn Celebration

Join Cold Keep on the 4th of October as we gather to celebrate the harvest and thumb our noses at the approaching winter weather. 

Activities for the day will include tournaments to choose Cold Keep Archery Defender, Bardic Defender, and our second-ever Youth Defender. Come out to watch or compete!

The evening will feature a feast of extraordinary deliciousness, prepared by the talented Lady Terina Da Milano and her kitchen crew of superiority. Please note pre-registration is required. There may also be a short court by the Avacal Prince, His Highness Kvigr Ivarsson.

Site opens Saturday 9am, closes 11pm

Site Fee:
$10 for adults 
(plus $5 Non-Member Surcharge where applicable)
In solidarity with Their Majesties King Styrkarr Jarlskald and Queen Dagrun Stjarna... there will be No Site Fee charged for anyone under the age of majority.

Feast Fee:
$12 each (free for children under 12)
**Feast must be paid for in advance. The only reserved feast ticket is a paid one!**

Note: We are hoping to add classes, please contact the event stewards if you are interested in teaching.

9:00 am site opens, coffee on
9:30 am Archery Inspection and Warm-up
10:30 am Archery Defender Tournament
Youth Archery* will directly follow
4:00 pm All Bardic Defender Entrants must be declared (sign up at gate)
6:00 pm Potluck Feast / Bardic Defender

*Times for Youth Defender Competition activities will be posted at gate

- Breads with Balsamic and olive oil
- Pumpkin Soup

Second Remove
- Mixed Greens
- Ravioli 
- Hedgehogs

Third Remove
- Roast Beef / Turkey
- Roasted Vegetables
- Yorkshire puddings

Super Secret Dessert Remove!

*There will be gluten-free options for every dish
*There will be non-red meat options in every remove
*There will be no onion, no garlic, no lemon, and no peanuts in this feast

The event is at the Miworth Community Hall at 13510 Flint Road, Prince George, BC, V2M 7B9. Make your best way on Highway 97 (the Bypass) to 5th Avenue. Turn west onto 5th Avenue and follow it to Foothills Boulevard. Turn north onto Foothills, and continue to Otway Road (just before the bridge). Turn east onto Otway Road and continue 11 kms to Flint Road. Note the road crosses the railway tracks three times before you reach the site.
