From the forest depths on Bainbridge Island, the ring of
trumpets, the herald's call, Come Ye Artistan's one and all, stand
tall and throw down your gauntlet to enter the competition. Their
Excellencies Arontious & Laurellen welcome ALL to come
experience the Arts & Sciences and Bardic Competitions at their
Candlemas event.
There are three competition categories, Artisan,
Bard and Scholar. All questions concerning the competitions can
be
forwarded to Dame Madrun (asminister@dragonslaire.org)
The deadline for submission of Letters of Intent will be 22
December.
Research papers are due by 12th Night. Letters should be sent to
Their
Excellencies (coronets@dragonslaire.org) and copied to Dame
Madrun.
Opening Court at 9am

From the Kitsap Peninsula: take your best route to Highway 305.
Follow 305 over the bridge onto Bainbridge Island, turning right
onto Day Rd. Take first left onto Miller Rd (Miller Road becomes
Fletcher Bay Road) and follow until it dead ends at stop sign. Turn
left onto Lynwood Center Road. Lynwood Center Rd becomes Bucklin
Hill Rd. The School is on the right of Bucklin Hill Rd. Parking
will be at the American Legion Hall, across the street.
From the Bainbridge Island Ferry terminal: Follow Highway 305 up
through town. At the intersection with NE High School Rd turn left.
Follow NE High School Rd, around a round-about (traffic circle)
until it dead-ends. At the dead-end turn left onto Fletcher Bay Rd
NE. follow to the stop sign, turning left onto Lynwood Center Rd.
Lynwood Center Rd becomes Bucklin Hill Rd. The School is on the
right of Bucklin Hill Rd.
