Welcome all to the
twenty-ninth Tournament of the Golden Swan. In addition to a full
schedule of Swan activities, there will be heavy and rapier
tourneys, the shire Championship, archery, bardic competition and
more.
The event will be held
at the spacious and beautiful Rock Creek Fairgrounds. The site
features a feast hall, a smaller hall for the Swan sessions, ample
outdoor areas for tourneys, archery and games, and a indoor
sleeping hall ( please pack according to winter camping conditions,
its better to have and not need then to need and not have.). Please
contact the Autocrat to reserve space in the sleeping hal,
theglasswolf@yahoo.ca.
There will be potluck
feasts both Saturday and Sunday evenings. Saturday, the shire will
provide a main dish of meat or fowl, and some vegetarian and
non-dairy choices. Day food has not been
confirmed.
There are three motels
in Rock Creek, but space is limited. RVs are encouraged. Kelowna is
just over an hour away and RV rentals are available
there.

Site fees: Adults $22,
children under 15 $12. NMS will apply. Day fee $14 adults, $8

Directions: From
Kelowna, take Highway 33 south-east for 127 km, 79 miles. Just
before the junction with Highway 3 at Rock Creek, turn left onto
Kettle Valley Road East. Cross the bridge and turn RIGHT. Proceed
to the fairgrounds approximately 2 kilometres on the
right.
From Osoyoos, take
Highway 3 east for 53 km, 33 miles. This highway is very steep and
winding for the first 10 km. At Rock Creek, turn left onto Highway
33. Take the first right, then follow the directions as
above.
Please note that
standard online mapping programs will steer you wrong. Do not rely
on them.
