Winter solstice, the return of the sun, was truly a cause for
celebration amoungst our ancestors. This festival called
Yule, the Vikings celebrated with rituals and feasting. Once
again let us join with Duke Tiernan and Duchess Miranda in honoring
the ancient traditions.
GLEDILEG JOL - GOOD YULE
Light the yule log, decorate the tree, drink some wassail, kiss the
yule goat. Fighting, games, classes and childrens
activities will make the day merry.
Feasting will highlight the day in the potluck style.
Everyone please bring enough for 5-8 people. Bring
plastic bags to carry your dishes home.

A-F Salads, veggies, cheese
G-L side dishes like beans, rice, etc.
M-S Meat dishes, main dishes
T-Z Desserts, fruit
Barony will provide turkey and bread.
