The Shire of Myrtleholt invites you to join us in the honoring
of our Fallen Heroes of the Summits, a family friendly weekend of
combat, fun & festivities.
Activities include Single Sword & MyrtleHolt's Defenders
Tourneys, Griffin Tourney (on Sunday) Brewing Competition,
A&S "Garbage-ology"competition: useless junk you’ve
turned into useful medieval treasure (see Shire website for
details), The Granny Grim Kettle Toss Competition for the ladies,
Equestrian and archery. Bardic Competition, and Carnival
that’s sure to entertain all.
Then Join us around the fire for singing & dancing into the
night!

Gate Fee: $10 For Adults, Youths 12-17yrs $5 , 11 & under:
Free, $30 Family Cap, $5 NMS is in effect. Make checks payable

Equestrain activities will be an awesome cross-country hunt
course of 1.5 possibly 2 miles, with up to 20+ targets, and target
mounted archery. Mounted archery qualifications will take place
Friday afternoon. Skills/weapons required will be: Archery,
javalin, spear. There are no stalls on site, however, Lake Selmac
Horse Camp is right next to the site. 16 stalls are available, and
can be reserved through the park service at Northwest Reservations
1-800-452-5687 on a first-come, first-served basis. There is also
plenty of room on site for those wishing to bring portable
stalls. Bonus: Katie Stearns, international mounted archery
compeditor, will be on site giving a demo, and answering questions.
She is amazing, and a really nice person!

Schedule: Site opens at 2pm on Friday Oct. 5th, and closes
on Sunday Oct 7th at 2pm. Tourney will be Saturday, armor
inspection beginning at Noon.
Site Location is the Flying B Bar Ranch (North
20 acres), 1100 McMullen Creek. Rd., Selma, OR, 97538
Directions: From Grants Pass take US HWY 199
(Redwood Hwy) heading towards the coast to Selma, OR. Turn left on
Lake Shore Dr towards Lake Selmac just a short distance after the
supermarket look for the signs (Parks and SCA).
From the Coast take US HWY 199 (Redwood Hwy)
heading towards the Grants Pass to Selma, OR. Turn right on Lake
Shore Dr towards Lake Selmac look for the signs (Parks and
SCA).
When Approaching Lake Selmac stay to the left
of the lake and drive around the lakes rim (follow SCA signs) drive
past general store (follow SCA signs) to parking and camping area
for event
